CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS WILL RESUME AT THE LIBRARY
Storytimes will start Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Kids Club will start Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Story-time is a fun program for preschool-age children every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. We have fun stories with puppets, songs, finger plays and crafts each week, as well as early literacy tips. All toddler and preschool-age children are welcome to attend with their parents.
Kids’ Club is held every Wednesday after school at 1:30 p.m. Kids Club is an awesome program for school-aged children and offers stories, crafts Lego days, science, games and lots of fun. There is no need to sign up; just come when you can. Library programs are free of charge, and there is no need to register. Children age 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Mother Daughter Book Club Event
We will kick off a new season of Girls’ and Boys’ Book Clubs with a GREAT READS FOR GIRLS Event Sept. 12 at 7 PM. The group will discuss “Because of Winn Dixie” by Kate DiCamillo.
Girls, ages 8-12, and their mothers (or another caring adult) are invited to stop by the library to register and check out a book in preparation for this event (registration is required by Sept.5). No younger siblings please.

“MUNCHING WITH MONET”
Come join us for our last event of the summer, with instructor, Tenille Rudeen. You’ll have fun painting and enjoying refreshments! It will be Wednesday, August 14th at 7:00 pm in the community room of the library.
Painting of the evening: Bring your own choice of picture to paint or finish any masterpiece from an earlier “Munching with Monet” evening.
Pre-registration is required. $15 for a new project with canvas; or finish a past project $5. Space is limited, so sign up today! For ages 18 and up.
