Dear Patrons:
The library is closed until further notice.
Please do not use the book/movie drop during this time. We would just ask that you take good care of the library materials during this crazy time and we will let you know when the book drop will be open again. We will post it here, on our website www.aflibrary.org, our Facebook page, and through other local media. Thank you for all your amazing support, your patience and courtesy to us and each other during this stressful week.
YOU HAVE MADE US FEEL VALUED!
We will see you on the other side of this experience where no doubt, it will help us to appreciate all we have, each other and of course,
A GOOD BOOK!
Kindra Munk and the Library Staff
Don’t forget about our OverDrive (Libby) program! You can access a wide variety of e-books and audiobooks through this app during our closure. Here’s some info and reminders:
-Find help on how to get started at
help.overdrive.com/…/articles/1481729-getting-started-with-…
–idahodigital.lib.overdrive.com
-Check out e-books, audiobooks, periodicals, and some streaming videos with OverDrive.
-You will need your card number and your PIN. (if you don’t know your PIN, call the library to have it reset for you before Friday at 6:00 pm)
-Can be used on e-Readers, tablets, smartphones.
-You will need to download the free Libby or Overdrive app. A lot of users tell us Libby is easier and more user-friendly.
-You can check out 4 items at a time and have 5 items placed on hold.
-Items are downloaded on your device for 2 weeks and will automatically disappear after that time. You can renew an item once as long as it’s not on hold for another patron.
We hope you use and enjoy this great opportunity for reading while we’re closed!
Due to health standards we are open this week today through Friday from 10:00 to 6:00. We will be closed Saturday and remain closed until at least Monday, April 6th. We will follow what our school district decides to do at that point. We will extend the due date for your items that are supposed to be due after March 20th for when we re-open. We ask that you refrain from returning items to the book drop during this time. Plan on returning items once we re-open. Please reach out with any questions or concerns you may have before the end of the day Friday. We will not have staff in the library when we are closed, so phone calls will not be answered and emails are not likely to be seen.
Kindra Munk, Library Director
