Fun September Storytimes!

Come join us for some fun storytimes in September!  We’ll be finger-painting fireflies.  We’ll make dancing hippos and leaf finger puppets.  And we’ll sing fun songs using scarves, rhythm sticks and bean bags.

The AF Library will kick off a new book club season with a GREAT READS FOR GIRLS event on Sept. 13 at 7:00 PM. Girls, ages 8-12, and their mothers (or another caring adult) are invited to stop by the library to register and check out a book in preparation for this event (registration is required by Sept. 6).

Congratulations to the “Libraries Rock” Summer Reading raffle prize winners: Oaklee Tiechert-Frozen Collection, Savannah West-ABC Book Collection, Carson Crump-Tractor Mack Book Collection, Finn Reed-Knights Book Collection, Ethan Crump-Para Cord Craft Kit, Carson Claunch-Percy Jackson Book Collection, Eden Driscoll (not pictured)-Rock Painting Craft Kit, Galilea Alvarez-Yellow Kindle Fire 7, Carson Anglesey-Blue Kindle Fire 7, Eden Moore-Kindle Fire 7 with Case. Trophies were also awarded to participants who completed their reading goals.
