Kids’ Club, for children ages 5-12, meets at the Library every Wednesday after school from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. (children age 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult). We offer stories, art projects, crafts, science activities, Lego Club, games and lots of fun. The program is free of charge and there is no need to register. For more information, call Debbie or Deena at the library at 226-2335.

Bring the family to a special showing of Pete’s Dragon on Wednesday, Dec 28 at 1:00 p.m. in the community room of the American Falls Library.    The movie is rated PG and is free to the public. Popcorn will be served. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.   For more information, call the library at 226-2335.

The Great Reads For Girls Mother/Daughter book group met earlier this month to discuss “The Little House on the Prairie” We enjoyed yummy food, had a great discussion, and made adorable rag dolls.

Books4Boys, our Parent-son book group met on October 27th to discuss “The White Indian Boy” by Elijah Nicholas Wilson. We gathered around the fire as our Chief, Brian Adair, lead a great tribal council (book discussion). Each boy created a traditional Native American Dream Catcher and enjoyed some tasty treats. We promise more fun to come – watch for our upcoming event next March.
