The AF Library has collaborated with Hillcrest Elementary School to bring Idaho Family Reading Week to the community through an open house Wednesday, November 14, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the AF Library. Geronimo Stilton, a popular children’s book character, will greet participants and pose for pictures. The open house will include a scavenger hunt as participants learn about various sections of the library. Every child will receive a book courtesy of the Idaho Commission for Libraries. The Elementary School class that has the greatest number of students attending the program will be treated to and ice cream party in their classroom and their teacher (if in attendance at the event) will receive a $30 Amazon Gift Certificate.
