Teen Movie Night at the Library featuring “The Lego Batman Movie”

Teens ages 12-18 are invited to attend a Movie Night hosted by the American Falls District Library. “The Lego Batman Movie” will be shown Wednesday, June 28 at 6 p.m.  in the library community room.

In the same spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman (Will Arnett) – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s (Zach Galifianakis) hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

Free popcorn will be served. Participants are welcome to bring pillows or beanbag seating.  Door Prizes will be awarded and each participant who is registered for the Teen Summer Reading Program will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a Kindle Fire, to be given away at the end of the summer programs.

Storytimes will resume in September

Our last storytime of the school year was at the end of April.  We’ve had so much fun telling stories and singing with the kids and their parents.  The kids have had so much fun making crafts each week.  We look forward to getting back into all of that in September.  Have a wonderful summer, everyone!  Stop in the library and say hi to us.
