Great Reads for Girls, our mother-daughter book group met last Thursday, September 29th, to discuss “The 100 Dresses.” We enjoyed delicious food, a great discussion, and special guest speaker, Power County Junior Miss, Vanessa Permann. Each girl learned how to fold an origami dress, and then used it to create a handmade Thank You card which they were challenged to give to someone they appreciate.
We promise more fun to come – our next book club event will be a Books4Boys discussion of The White Indian Boy on October 27th. for more information, click here
